Research Grant
Start2Cure only operates via ‘call for proposals’ where the subject and theme will vary per application cycle. With medical scientific research, the foundation focuses mainly on clinical patient-oriented research to improve the disabling cognitive and physical effects in the progressive or advanced phase of the disease. In addition, the foundation supports research into future medical and innovative technological interventions that can induce neurological repair.
All call registrations can only be submitted in English. Applications outside the Netherlands will also be considered.
The next call will start on September 1, 2024.
All grant submissions undergo rigorous peer review and are held to the strictest standards of scientific excellence. After completing a step of the Grant Application Process an evaluation will be made if the applicant can proceed to the next phase. Every grant will be assessed on its own qualifications and the chances of getting financial support depends on how good the application matches with Start2Cure’s mission and research focus area. Start2Cure’s Board of Directors will make final decisions on the Grant Applications and associated budget.
