Research Grant
Start2Cure only operates via ‘call for proposals’ where the subject and theme will vary per application cycle. With medical scientific research, the foundation focuses mainly on clinical patient-oriented research to improve the disabling cognitive and physical effects in the progressive or advanced phase of the disease. In addition, the foundation supports research into future medical and innovative technological interventions that can induce neurological repair.
All call registrations can only be submitted in English. Applications outside the Netherlands will also be considered.
The next call will start on September 1, 2024.
All grant submissions undergo rigorous peer review and are held to the strictest standards of scientific excellence. After completing a step of the Grant Application Process an evaluation will be made if the applicant can proceed to the next phase. Every grant will be assessed on its own qualifications and the chances of getting financial support depends on how good the application matches with Start2Cure’s mission and research focus area. Start2Cure’s Board of Directors will make final decisions on the Grant Applications and associated budget.

Sociale Grant
Met de sociaal maatschappelijke initiatieven tracht de stichting om op de kortere termijn de omgeving van de patiënt aan te passen en te verbeteren waardoor de kwaliteit van leven in de progressieve en gevorderde fase van de ziekte voor patiënt en familie wordt verhoogd.
Sociale initiatieven kunnen gedurende het jaar op ieder moment een aanvraag indienen. De stichting verleent enkel financiële steun aan Algemeen Nut Beogende Instellingen in Nederland en België (door de Belastingdienst erkende ANBI’s). Commerciële instellingen komen niet in aanmerking voor ondersteuning, evenals aanvragen voor steun ten behoeve van een individu.

Step 1 : vooraanvraag
Na de vooraanvraag gaan succesvolle aanvragers door naar stap 2 van de aanvraag. Het aanvraagformulier wordt per email verzonden.
